Taylor Leamey is a writer and artist based in North Carolina. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a BS in psychology and sociology, she began a career in writing. Taylor works for CNET as a Senior Writer, covering health topics with a focus on sleep and mental health. She is dedicated to weaving mental health topics into her stories to break stigma and normalize access to care.

When she isn’t writing or reading, Taylor is likely painting wizards or nature-inspired portraits with animals. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her partner and two cats.
